1:72 scale Thrust Structure, Dome, Heat Shield for Saturn V Second Stage S-IVB

Description – This auction includes one (1) 1:72 scale (1” = 6’-0”) thrust structure, adjacent tank dome, and heat shield for the Apollo Saturn V rocket second stage.  These detailed models are compatible with our other auction of (6) J-2 engines at the same scale.  Note that the heat shield does not come with any bar supports (these would have been impossible to mail without breaking).  We have, however, provided dimples in the heat shield and thrust structure for their locations, refer to photos from the era.  These 3-D prints are our own design, based meticulously on photographs, scaled measurements, and technical diagrams.  We’ve made some minor adjustments to make the items print better, but we consider these changes to be superficial.  Our original STL files are unfortunately not for sale.
Items are brand new printed on 4K Mono SLA 3D printer, resolution is 40 micro-meters (basically the print lines are nearly undetectable!).  Minor touch up may be desired where supports were removed from items.  This is very minor and typically on the bottom of the items.  Standard photos have been included for your reference, and color changes may occur in the items printed for your order.  Items come unprimed and unpainted, and priming/painting is recommended.

Payment - Payment is due at auction end.  Failure to pay for item within four days will result in an unpaid item case being opened.
Shipping - We ship via USPS Parcel Select Ground.  At this time we do not offer combined shipping.
International Buyers - All duty & import charges are the responsibility of the buyer.  Shipping charges are not free for international buyers.  Please inquire PRIOR to purchase for a shipping quote.
Damaged Items - Please be aware that these are hard resin models that may shift during shipping.  They are fragile; cracks and damage are possible, and you may need to perform minor repairs.  That being said, we do everything we can to ship all items securely, wrapped in either bubble wrap or foam sheeting (sometimes both). If an item gets unacceptably damaged due to shipping, please contact us.  If you have a complaint of any kind, please contact us to make it right!  We strive for five star ratings, and we hope you give us a chance to earn that.
Returns - We require ALL items to be returned in order to process a refund. We will no longer be issuing partial refunds to buyers. If the item is not returned to us, a refund will NOT be issued. No exceptions. If you purchased multiple items, ALL items must be returned for a refund.
