Description: The Sikorsky XPS-3 was a proposed variant of the highly successful S-38 flying boat, that was proposed NAVY Patrol Scout that was was wind tunnel tested, but never built. The Sikorsky S-38 was an American twin-engine ten-seat seaplane amphibious aircraft. It was Sikorsky's first widely produced amphibious flying boat, serving successfully for Pan American Airways and the United States military.
