The Glamorous Glenis Bell X-1 Rocket Plane flew 700 MPH and broke the sound barrier for the first time on October 14th,1947 with Captain Chuck Yeager at the controls.
Model Aircraft is 12 inches long approximately.

Condition is Pre-Owned and in Good Condition.
Comes with Nice Wood Stand with Information Plaque attached.
All known issues noted here:
Paint Approximately 1-inch strip down one side Mottled (Not Smooth) on the starboard side of aircraft model.
(Appears to be a factory paint issue) Not easy to notice.
Missing the Center Cone Antennae.
Port Side Tail Wing has a chip in one of the air-directional fins.
