Description
BUSCH 12141 steam locomotive Decauville H0fNEW in original packaging!
Based on the model locomotive »Dimitrias«, which has been in the Feldbahnmuseum in Frankfurt am Main since 1994. Wheel alignment B. Length: 42 mm.
The model comes from the workshop of the French field train pioneer Paul Decauville (1846 - 1922), who from 1875 developed his own field train system consisting of rails, trucks and locomotives. Due to its distribution and long running time in different epochs, this steam locomotive is universally suitable for many applications such as forest railway, brick railway, tourist railway, tram, in opencast mining and as an army field railway. Today four of these robust locomotives are still preserved in their original form. One of them can be admired in operation in the Frankfurt Feldbahnmuseum (www.feldbahn-ffm.de). The vehicle from the early 20th Century has a service weight of 6.5 tons and an output of 20 hp. The large water boxes, which allow the locomotive a considerable range of action, are typical. Many details, such as the construction with an external frame, are perfectly implemented in the model. The filigree drive rods are even designed to be fully movable. New (larger) wagons for a wide variety of transport purposes round off this new development, whereby the steam locomotive can of course pull all wagons from the Busch field train range.
