Antique promotional / giveaway item -- BEAR SHAPED WOODEN TOY -- was given to children by the Sundial / Bonnie Laddie shoe company -- possibly in the 1920s or 1930s. This wooden piece measures approximately 5.5 inches long, and has 4 wooden wheels mounted on the sides. The piece has a carved shape of a bear, or possibly a dog, and it has the company logo stamped/painted into one side. Please refer to the attached images for more information on size, construction, and condition. Overall condition: Solid VG+..... This promotional toy has light signs of use and handling expected for its age, including: some small dings, light surface/paint wear and a bit of soiling. However, there are no serious flaws, and this item will display very well. ***************************************** PLEASE NOTE: I am NOT an expert on vintage children's items. My mom -- Nancy Moran -- was a longtime collector and she especially unusual toys, sewing memorabilia and antique buttons. She was downsizing, so my brother and I are selling some of her collections.
