CLASSIC WOODEN BIPLANE: WORKING PROP & WHEELS
For consideration is one wooden, presumably handmade biplane.  This nicely put together plane will certainly be a welcome addition to the aviation themed collection OR even an interest to the vintage toy aficionado.  I would recommend that this piece be used primarily as a collectors piece and not so much a toy as the plane; while put together well is not really intended as a long lasting child’s play toy.  Wingspan measures about 8’ across, total length of plane is roughly 7’ long.  I did not observe any maker’s marks/cartouches evident anywhere on the piece, so an exact manufacture/builder or date of production is unknown.
