Completed Cross Stitch - Sweet Sampler with Red & Cream Posies / Urn

COMPLETED CROSS STITCH SAMPLER
Sweet design - green geometric border and centers, inner borders of Red and Cream Posies, and a lovely Urn beneath the alphabet and numbers full of the same flowers.  The fabric is stitched around, but outside the stitching is some edge fraying.  I mentioned the two stains above, please refer to the photos.  I also put a photo of the back up, because even though she did this almost 40 years ago, I’m just so proud of her stitching.  Embroidered area is 10 1/8” x 13”.  The piece of fabric is 14 1/2” x 18 1/4”.  Again, I don’t know for certain if this was a kit or a pattern she got from a book or her cross stitch magazine.
We will be listing many completed cross stitch embroidery pieces over the next several weeks.  These were done by my mother over the past 60+ years.  It was one of her favorite hobbies and she was still making them until last year when her health forbade it.  We came across over 100 pieces, stored in a few different tubs and some that were framed.  Although we selected favorites for her daughters and granddaughters, there are plenty to share with you.  Some are signed, some are not.  She used kits as well as patterns out of books. Some she my have purchased while living in Gettysburg.  I will list the sizes, etc, but I am clearly not an expert, so if you have any questions, please ask.  Thank you for looking.
