The Daiwa Zakana Casting Jig is a saltwater casting jig with a small baitfish profile. Aptly-named, "Zakana" is derived from a Japanese slang term for small baitfish and this lure does an excellent job of mimicking one. It has super aerodynamic body that's easy to cast super far and, once underwater, offers one-of-a-kind erratic wounded baitfish swimming action.
While the Zakana may have a body shape similar to other saltwater casting jigs on the market, the Zakana is the first to have a horizontal line tie (as opposed to vertical), which makes its swimming action different from other jigs you have with this profile.
