Finished / completed and framed cross stitch of a saying. "Mothers are Gods Special People" in excellent vintage condition. It has been professionally framed and under glass since it was made.
The cross stitch is in a nice gold painted wood frame, in excellent condition. The picture could be used as is or moved to another frame. It could even be integrated into a quilt square or a pillow . It could be hung on the wall or put on a table. It has the apparatus on the back side too hang it. There is glass.
I saw no date anywhere around this picture. I could not find one like it anywhere on eBay or the internet. Most of the finished cross stitch pictures from this maker are from the 80s and 90s but I can make no guarantees as to the date of this one. The fact that I couldn't find either a cross stitch kit or a pattern for sale anywhere probably means it has been long since discontinued. This item has to be listed as used but it is meant to be displayed and enjoyed for many years.
The workmanship is beautiful. The maker has since passed away but I know nothing would make her happier than to know that her artwork will be used and enjoyed by others for years to come.
This could be displayed and enjoyed year round. The condition of the actual artwork is excellent vintage condition. I saw no sign of staining or discoloration, no odors.
The frame is included free. You are purchasing the cross stitch craftsmanship. It looks pretty good to me. I see no loose ends. Thank you for your interest!
The outer dimensions of the frame are roughly 8" by 8.5". The cloth image of the cross stitch inside is approximately 3" by 3.5". I did not take it out to measure it for fear I wouldn't be able to get it back in right. The cardboard backing has been attached to the frame but I'm sure it could be gently removed without damaging the cross stitch. There is a pretty mat, cupboard with a thick velour inside of an ashy pink color giving the cross stitch a sunken three-dimensional appearance. The cross stitch itself is in sort of a cornflower blue and pink that matches the mat.

I ship items ASAP after payment is received. I do have to go to the library and post office to print the label and ship the item but I'm usually able to do it in one to two days. About the only time that varies is if I need an odd size box that I'm unable to find.    If an item is paid for early enough in the day I can usually make it to the post office before the last pickup.
