NORTH AMERICAN XB-70 VALKYRIE DESK DISPLAY MODEL~NICE!

Estate Find~ Desk top display of the XB-70 Valkryie(1/150 scale) experimental bomber. This display is in very good condition, but has a small ding on the wooden display and the front nose where the needle comes out. This is not observable from a long distance. Please look at the pics closely. The XB-70 Valkyrie was an incredible radical design for a bomber, starting in the late 50's only 2 prototypes were made, they had a ceiling of over 70,000ft and had speeds in excess of mach 3. The test flights were made in 64-69 and one crashed into a chase jet and the other is on display at the National Museum of the United States Air Force.
