    Description

    Wonderfully crafted and professionally finished, this vintage pillow is ready for use.  The counted cross stitch is, I believe, a Northwestern Pacific Native American design of an orca whale.  It is done in black and red threads and framed with stitching also in black and red.  It is signed "Karen 1987" below the rectangular frame.  The pillow sides and backing are a dark brown velvet.  The corners are mitered and it is piped with the same brown velvet.  There is a zipper closure and a fabric covered foam insert.  Condition is pre-owned but there are no rips, holes or tears in the canvas or velvet.  The zipper is fully functional.  Mine is a non-smoking home, I can not guarantee its prior residence but I detect no odors.  Enlarge and look at all photos for more details on condition and size.  Please contact if additional information or photos are needed.
