This is a very large frame / piece of glass. The shipping quoted is what the USPS calculates based on the dimensions and weight of the parcel. I'm not happy about the high cost either. Sellers are charged fees on the shipping amount as well as the item. :(  My apologies. Parcel post may be slightly cheaper, but does not include insurance, and with glass involved I believe insurance is necessary. Please feel free to ask questions.

Frame is wood and has protective glass.
Cross stitch design is the 50 United States listed alphabetically and each state has it's symbol.
Beautiful details and very nicely stitched.
Completed in July 1990 by Helen Woods.
Frame is approximately 28.5" x 18.5".
Frame has a few little dings or nicks.

We have a smoke free home. We do have a dog.
I only charge shipping (no packaging or handling fees) and try to find the best way to send your items.
