one smoker
shown in "sheepskin" jacket and leather helmet with goggles and Fokker DR-1 Triplane. Manfred von Richthofen, the "Red Baron", hand-painted in Bavarian Uhlan uniform w/ "Blue Max" order.  Richthofen was the German Ace of all Aces in WWI from 1916 to 1918 with 80 aircraft downed.  Pilot can be displayed as a stand-alone smoker or top piece sitting in the airplane.  Also shown are other figures made and sold by the same seller in previous auctions, for comparison only. Pilot marked on bottom with Erzegebirge and Made in Germany stamping.  Never lit.
